The Talking Dog began in 2020 during the COVID pandemic, when our family welcomed a Bichon Frise puppy called Kenny.

It all started with
one simple question...
Two members of our family worked as optometrists. Over the years, they had seen talking buttons — augmentative communication devices — used by elderly patients who had lost the ability to speak. The results were remarkable.
